December 11, 18, - Now That I'm a Christian…
Adult 1 & 2 These two classes are the core of our adult education. Each group studies the same Bible-based curriculum. The class is based on quarterly themes from large portions of Bible books. Over six years, a student would get a large survey of all the Bible's information, themes, teachings, and applications. These classes are taught year-around each Sunday morning. All adults are welcome. (Rooms 102A & 103B)
Now That I'm a Christian… What are the very most basic essential things to know as a new follower of Jesus? This three week elective examines that question in week one. Weeks two and three help the new Christian discover the exciting purpose for which God has created them. This class is available three times in 2011. (March 27, April 3, 10) (July 31, August 7, 14) (December 11 & 18) (Room 100)
Son-Rise 101 What is the "Christian Church" & who is Son-Rise? Weeks one and two will answer these questions with a biblical rationale for who we are and how we do things. The remaining four weeks will cover some basic, yet core, biblical beliefs. This class is available twice in 2011. (April 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29) (October 30, November 6, 13, 20, 27, December 4) (Room 100)
Wrestling with Gorillas In this five week parenting series, you will learn the five most important strategies to ensure a happy family. Learn what matters most if you want to be effective in your discipline, resolve conflict with your children, unlock your child's potential, and give your children the blessing, a powerful experience every child should have before they leave home. This class will be offered once in 2011. (August 21, 28, September 4, 11, 18) (Room 100)
Secrets to Lasting Love* In this five week series, you will learn: the five levels of intimate communication, how your mate's personality can improve your marriage, the single greatest skill for a satisfying marriage, the number one communication method in the world, and how to discover and meet the most important relational needs of your mate. This class will be offered once in 2011. (September 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23) (*Denotes an earlier start time of 8:30 a.m.) (Room 103A)
