Son-Rise began...

in the home of Chuck & Joyce Embree in July of 2007 when a few devoted Christ-followers began praying and studying together on a Wednesday night.  Their common mission fueled a passion to begin a new congregation that would join other churches in the effort to heal the hurts of Marshfield and the surrounding communities.

Son-Rise loves...

everyone and wants to involve everyone in the kind of life that God meant us to live - both now and for eternity.  It is a life of meaning a purpose.  It is a life offered to everyone that is thirsty.  You don't have to be "holy" to attend Son-Rise.  You don't even have to know what "holy" means!  Our congregation is made up of people from all different walks of life - different ages, different vocations, different religious backgrounds, different levels of faith in God - probably even some doubters!  It doesn't matter.  If you thirst for something more in life - Son-Rise simply exists to point you in the right direction.
